Kaytlen Davis
Board President
Kaytlen graduated from Husson University PT school in 2001. She owns and operates Davis PT in Auburn. She enjoys spending time with her children Julian and Elise, attending sports events, traveling, beach days, mountain adventures and enjoying their backyard. Kayt felt called by God to start a Christian school in 2022 and has worked toward that goal since then.

Liz Cushman
Board Secretary
Liz is a mom to 2 sons and has homeschooled her youngest from elementary school through high school. She is the office manager (aka chaos coordinator) for Davis PT. She enjoys time in nature, from the ocean to the mountains. Liz also enjoys traveling with her family. She has a heart for saying “yes” to God’s calling and has a passion for sharing her faith with others.

Bobbi Jeselskis
Board Treasurer
Bobbi is a mother of 4. She has homeschooled her children for many years with the support of co-ops and her local homeschool community. She works as a facility manager for her family’s self-storage business. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about health and wellness, gardening, beekeeping, and traveling.

Jeffery Haggerty
Board Member
Jeff Haggerty is a husband, father and small business owner. Jeff attended Christian and later public high school and deeply values the foundation Christian education provided in his formative years. He is a longtime member of East Auburn Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his beautiful wife, two sons, working and relaxing at the island.

Carla Lobley
Board Member
Elementary Teacher
Mrs. Carla Lobley (Ms. L.) teaches multi grades 3-5 and is an Avodah board member. She is a Maine-state certified K-8 general elementary teacher and has a K-12 gifted and talented endorsement. She is currently earning a master’s degree from Liberty University, specializing in gifted and talented education, special education, and guidance.
Ms. L. has experience homeschooling, teaching in homeschool co-ops, private school, and working as a public school, district-wide gifted and talented teacher, as well as a fourth grade classroom teacher.
Ms. L. strives to create a curious, positive classroom culture which inspires a love for learning and promotes respect for others and oneself. That culture is rooted in the belief that each person is created in the image of God, and therefore has intrinsic value and unique giftings to be developed and explored.
In her free time, Ms. L. enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She likes to hike, ride her motorcycle, read, play the piano, and visit with family and friends.

Andrea MacEachern
Board Member
Teacher’s Assistant
Andrea has over 20 years of experience working with children in various ministries, education settings and as a longtime homeschool mother of three. She loves the Lord, her family, her friends, being creative and the outdoors.

Becca Prescott
Teacher
Mrs. Becca Prescott (Mrs. Becca) has a B.S. in Elementary Education as well as a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction both from Liberty University. She currently is working with the State of Maine to receive her Professional Teaching Certificate. She has 11 years of experience teaching at Central Maine Christian Academy in grades 4th-6th. She has also worked at Shaw’s for 7 years in many departments leading and working together with her fellow associates.
Mrs. Becca creates a classroom where students always feel loved, are acknowledged and gain confidence in themselves in all they do and know that they are capable of anything they set their minds to. Ultimately her goal is to create an environment where learning is fun, and glorifying God through it all.
In her spare time, Mrs. Becca enjoys spending time with her husband James. She also likes baking, reading, doing crafts and going for drives.

Olivia Morrisette
Teacher
Olivia Morissette is a graduate of Central Maine Christian Academy. She went on to pursue an A.S. in Education at Central Maine Community College while continuing to further her studies.
Olivia holds an Ed. Tech certification and has served in a variety of roles including substitute teacher and student teacher at Central Maine Christian Academy. In addition to her classroom experience, she has worked extensively in childcare through volunteering, coaching, and participating in various ministry programs. Olivia brings enthusiasm and commitment to every role she undertakes. Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports, baking, and camping. One of her favorite places to be is by the ocean. -

Jenna Treadway
Teacher
Jenna Treadway graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Science, and since then has worked in both ministry and professional settings ranging from discipling college students to being a park ranger in Maine. Most recently, she has been working in Maine’s bustling agricultural scene as both a greenhouse director and a year-round organic veggie farmer. Education has been a part of it all, and she is so excited to be a part of fostering a love of science and the natural world at Avodah!
In her spare time, you can find her canning produce at home, playing a rotating list of instruments, and volunteering with her church’s youth group!

Koren Hawley
Teacher
Koren earned an associate degree from Central Maine Community College and later continued her education at USM, pursuing a degree in Accounting. Professionally, she worked as an Ed Tech III at a special education school, where she developed a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. Life then called for her to transition from full-time work to homeschool her own children. This is the time she cherished. Additionally, She has spent years volunteering in children's ministry, coaching youth sports, and working at Bible-focused summer camp. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their three boys.

Emma MacEachern
Lower Elementary Teacher
Emma holds an Associates Degree in business along with a certificate in Biblical Studies from a bible school in England. She brings years of experience serving in various children’s ministries, including Sunday School, Nursery, VBS, GEMS and teaching piano lessons, where she has developed a heart for nurturing and encouraging young people in their faith. She also has a deep love for missions and a passion for growing the church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, baking, traveling and finding a new hobby to learn.

Angela Chasse-Pomerleau
Spiritual Life Director
Angela is our school spiritual life director; leading and shepherding the next generation into deeper faith. She has a heart of children and young adults and enjoys walking through life with them. She loves to read the Word, pray and serve the Lord. She is a wife and mother to three sons, Benjamin (26), Dominic (23) and Jax (9). She loves to encourage people wherever she goes, especially at church and the hockey rink!

Hannah Denny
Teacher’s Assistant
Hannah has been teaching for nearly a decade as a homeschool mom and in various co-op settings. She genuinely enjoys working with children and loves witnessing their growth—especially when they overcome challenges or light up while learning about something they're interested in. Outside the classroom, Hannah enjoys spending time with her 5 wonderful kids and their mini doodle, Pippin. Whether they’re exploring the beach, hiking trails, or going to parks and local events, she values every moment together. She’s also actively involved at her church, serving in the children’s ministry and participating on the worship team.Hannah feels incredibly blessed that God has given her the opportunity to partner with you in your children’s education through Avodah.

Valerie Obie
Teacher’s Assistant
Valerie is a wife to her wonderful husband of 13 years and a proud mom of three energetic boys. She has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 8 years, where life has been full, busy and deeply rewarding. In her free time, you’ll find her outside- especially in the summer- soaking up the sunshine, making memories with her family and cheering on her sons as they play sports. She loves to share her days with her Doberman, Bowser, and taking care of her chickens which add a little extra joy to everyday life. Val is grateful for the season of life she has been in and feels called to step in to this next chapter, beginning her work with Avodah School, trusting in God’s guidance and purpose for what lies ahead.

Cindy Wardwell
Teacher’s Assistant
Privileged to serve the Lord as a Pastor’s wife to her husband of 43 years, Cindy holds a B.S. degree in Rehabilitative Counseling with a focus in educating children with behavioral challenges. Her dual professional career includes working as an Ed. Tech III in an alternative school and as a CNA/CRMA/Administrative Assistant in a Dementia and Hospice Care setting. Her greatest joy and passion, though, is found in her family, having raised 7 (some home-schooled) children and now as a grandmother of 19 (with another on the way)! Her favorite moments are spent in the kitchen cooking for others and sharing her home with any in need. She loves sewing, baking, and sports; and still hopes to open her own bakery someday.
